About Susan:
Susan O’Dea is a singer, songwriter, actor and musician based out of New York City. She is a member of the Grammy-nominated and Tony Award winning Broadway Inspirational Voices, and an alumni of the Boston Conservatory where she studied acting, music and dance. Some of her career highlights include singing for Stephen Schwartz at Lincoln Center, the Obamas at the White House and the NY Pops at Carnegie Hall. In 2020, during the midst of the lockdown, O’Dea formed an acoustic duo with fellow artist Nick Spear called Big Sky City Lights. They released their first full length album “Wake Me When We Get There” in June of 2021. Their unique style and dreamy, harmony-infused sound landed them a feature on Good Morning America as well as coveted spots at various festivals, including Sisters Folk Festival, and Under The Big Sky Festival on the bill with Lord Huron, Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers, Emmylou Harris and others. Outside of NYC, you may see Susan touring around the country with Big Sky City Lights or with the touring companies of Neil Berg’s “50 Years of Rock and Roll” and “100 Years of Broadway”. Susan believes that the smallest act of kindness is the greatest thing in the world.
